Daredevil Brewing Co Releases J.W.P. American Stout

Shelbyville, IN (December 10, 2013) – Daredevil Brewing Co, makers of Lift Off IPA and aggressively fun craft beers, announced the release of their newest limited edition beer, J.W.P. which is forged from the combination of nine grains and American hops to deliver a huge bouquet of aromas and abundant flavors of rich, silky espresso and chocolate in an expressive American Stout with the spirit of the Wild West.
J.W.P. is a 6.5% ABV, 65 IBU, 55 SRM limited release and it’s also our anniversary beer! J.W.P. is one of our interpretations of the American Stout where we use an aggressive mixture of malts and hops to provide wave after wave of complex flavors for your enjoyment. It will be available on draft throughout the Daredevil distribution footprint of central and southern Indiana beginning Monday, December 16th. J.W.P. will also be one of the featured beers in our upcoming Aggressively Fun Appreciation Tour in January which will include six events across Indiana.

It’s hard to believe that about a year ago we were hard at work brewing our first batches of Lift Off IPA. Since then we have brewed many more batches of Lift Off IPA and our limited and seasonal releases as they have made their way to an amazing number of locations across the state.
The best part of the last year has been meeting so many people who enjoy our beers and now we would like to celebrate the last year as we look forward to what the future brings.
Since we do not operate a tasting room of our own we have no place to throw an anniversary party. What to do? We decided to take the party on the road and go visit some of the places and people who have supported us throughout the year. We hope by taking this approach it also will give more people a chance to attend an event, meet some new friends and help us celebrate our first anniversary.
This tour is for you – all of the people that enjoy our beers and supported us – so we hope to see many of you as we make our way across the State of Indiana!
The appreciation tour stops will include the following locations so mark them on your calendar.
* Twenty Tap, Indianapolis, Wednesday, January 8th
* Buckhead Mountain Grill, Jeffersonville, Thursday, January 9th
* Tomlinson Tap Room, Indianapolis, Friday, January 17th
* The Tap, Bloomington, Saturday, January 18th
* Black Market, Indianapolis, Monday, January 20th
* Pizzology, Carmel, Tuesday, January 21st
For each event we will be pouring Lift Off IPA, Muse Belgian Golden Ale and our soon to be announced anniversary beer. And as a special treat for our all fans we are launching our new small batch Rare Devil Series beers in conjunction with the appreciation tour.And when we say small we mean small. In some cases there may be only one or two kegs of a given beer.
Each appreciation tour stop will feature one or two of these Rare Devil Series beers which means every event will be different! Look for the announcements on which Rare Devil Series beers will be included shortly before each event.
All of the events are open to the public and will be tap takeover style events. In addition, the Black Market event will feature a multi-course dinner where each course will be paired with a Daredevil beer in addition to the tap takeover. This event has very limited seating, will start at 6:00pm, costs $50/person and requires an RSVP by calling Black Market at 317.822.6757.
And saving the best for last we have two winners in our Lift Off IPA #HandsOnOurCans contest who each have won two tickets to the Black Market event or can be our guest at any of the other Appreciation Tour stops. The winning entries came from Douglas Washington, for his entry we named “Northern Exposure”, and Russ Balliet, for his entry we named “Ready for Lift Off”. Thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations to Doug and Russ!

15 new locations across the state for Monday & Tuesday, including Carmel, Clarksville, Crawfordsville, Greenville, Greenwood, Indy, Lawrenceburg, Muncie, New Albany, Plainfield, Seymour & Zionsville.
We also are aware some locations have run out quickly (same day they received their delivery) so we encourage people to call ahead. We will keep up this list until things settle down

Daredevil Lift Off IPA cans shipping today

Shelbyville, IN (October 28, 2013) Lift Off in a can! The cans are coming, the cans are coming! Since we announced our plans to ship Lift Off IPA in 4 packs of 16oz cans the response has been incredible. We are thrilled to let you know that today we are shipping Lift Off IPA cans and you will be able to find them at over 150 locations throughout the Daredevil distribution footprint of central and southern Indiana served by our distribution partner World Class Beer/Monarch Beverage Company.
In addition, to celebrate the Lift Off IPA can launch we are running a special “Hands on our Cans” contest. Get ready to be creative with our Lift Off IPA cans wherever you take them or find them by posting the best photograph or short video with the #HandsOnOurCans hashtag on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram for a chance to win some great prizes. The goal of the contest is to give people a chance to be creative, to show your enthusiasm for craft beer and to win some cool awards from us.

- All participants must be of legal drinking age and to participate all you have to do is post a photograph or short video (under 20 seconds) that includes a Lift Off IPA can to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram that includes the #HandsOnOurCans hashtag
- All entries must adhere to the Brewer’s Association Advertising and Marketing Guidelines. (http://www.brewersassociation.org/pages/business-tools/marketing-and-advertising-code). In summary, the BA guidelines mean no entries that show what would be irresponsible behavior and require all communication be targeted to adults of legal drinking age. Please review the full guidelines before choosing to participate.
- No purchase required. All entries can be submitted via Facebook/Twitter/Instagram. Each entry must include the Daredevil user name on that social media service and the #HandsOnOurCans hashtag. Entries also can be sent by email to [email protected].
- Daredevil Brewing Co will determine all winning entries. All entries submitted may be reposted by Daredevil Brewing Co.
- The contest will run for the month of November, 2013.
Contest awards will include
- Weekly award for best entry will receive their choice of a Daredevil custom t-shirt or set of two Daredevil logo glasses.

Lift Off IPA 16oz cans coming in November!

Shelbyville, IN (September 23, 2013) We are very excited to announce that Lift Off IPA will be coming out soon in 16oz cans. Let the celebrating begin!
Since we shipped the first keg of Lift Off IPA people have been asking when we would have packaging and we are happy to say in November you will be able to get your hands on our cans. We will be shipping 4 packs of 16oz cans and they will be available throughout the Daredevil distribution footprint of central and southern Indiana served by our distribution partner World Class Beer/Monarch Beverage Company.
In addition, to celebrate the Lift Off IPA can launch we will also be running a special “Hands on our Cans” contest. Daredevil Brewing Co Releases Carnival Saison
August 12, 2013
Shelbyville, IN (August 12, 2013) – Daredevil Brewing Co, makers of Lift Off IPA and aggressively fun craft beers, announced the release of their newest Belgian style seasonal beer, Carnival, which is a creative and artistically balanced Saison that combines spicy phenols, fruity esters, noble hops and Belgian malts with a classic dry and thirst quenching finish.
Carnival is a 8.0% ABV, 35 IBU, 5.3 SRM seasonal release and will be available on draft throughout the Daredevil distribution footprint of central and southern Indiana beginning Monday, August 18th.
To celebrate this festive release the first public tapping of Carnival will be done at events during Indianapolis GP week hosted at Lino’s Coffee in Speedway, Indiana beginning Thursday, August 15th. Follow our Facebook page for more information.
